What type of education do you have?

Dr. Kelley attended a 4+ year Nationally accredited doctoral program of Naturopathic (ND) and Chiropractic (DC) Medicine after receiving a BS at SDSU in Food and Nutrition with emphasis in Dietetics. Classes within the DC/ND programs are very similar to medical: however, ND/DC students spend more time on anatomy, nutrition, and chiropractic technique; whereas, the medical student will spend more time on pathology and pharmacology. As a result, a chiropractic & naturopathic physician has more training and experience in addressing conditions without the use of prescription drugs.

Are you a medical doctor?

No, I am not. I am a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Chiropractic Physician. I do not prescribe or assist individuals stopping prescription drugs, that is always up to the individuals prescribing medical doctor. My services are not meant to substitute or replace regular medical appointments and treatment, but work in-congruence with them.

Do you prescribe medications?

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We work with all insurance for chiropractic visits. We use a third party to submit claims as an out of network provider. Payment is expected at the conclusion of each visit and depending on your insurance plan you have you will be reimbursed according to your plan.

Any other care you choose in our clinic is not covered by insurance. Most of our care is considered above the standard of care which is considered “elective” by most insurances.

If you are opting for us to bill the insurance companies you will not be allowed to purchase any packages we offer.

Am I a good candidate for Functional or Naturopathic medicine?

Short Answer is YES! Long answer: Ask yourself – Are you sick of feeling rundown and tired? Have you sought care through the conventional medical system without answers? Are you ready to take charge of your own health? If the answer is yes to even one of these questions, you are in the right place!

I am on a number of medications, how do you handle this?

We take all precautions to check with drug and supplement interactions. It is always discussed with the patient. We encourage patients to be open and honest with your medical doctors about supplements you are taking.
